Pelvic Floor Treatment

Pelvic health physical therapy treats a wide range of conditions involving the pelvic floor muscles and surrounding structures. These may appear as pelvic, hip, sacroiliac, or low-back pain—or more specific issues such as:

  • Urinary or fecal incontinence
  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Pain with intercourse, vaginismus, or erectile dysfunction
  • Postpartum recovery and core weakness
  • Tailbone pain (coccygodynia)
  • Endometriosis and pelvic pain syndromes
  • Pudendal neuralgia
  • Constipation and bowel dysfunction

Each session begins with a comprehensive external and, when appropriate, internal pelvic assessment along with posture and movement analysis. Because pelvic floor dysfunction often stems from a combination of tightness, weakness, and coordination deficits, Andrea designs individualized treatment plans to promote faster, lasting results.

Her goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where every patient feels comfortable and empowered to heal. Through a holistic and collaborative approach, Andrea helps patients reconnect with their bodies and return to the activities they love.
